A day in the rain forest at Tobago . It was a nice tour by car along the north west coast of Tobago up to Bloody Bay . That where the walk in the rain forest started. We all woke up early this morning, to be in the rain forest from the early morning. It is in the early mornings that there is most to see. It was a nice cool temperature this early in the morning, and lots of mosquitoes.
Chris, our guide, could tell us much about plants, birds and animals. To bad we afterwards have forgotten most of the names. He told us about poisonous plants, plants that were good for the health and about some plants that were good eating. Birds are Chris' favourite theme, and we got to see some rare spices. Chris could whistle like most of the birds, and he knew how to get their attention.

Heliconia Great Story - This plant never runs out of water. The flower are like bowls to collect water.. "Spiralplant"... or more correct, Spiral Ginger Flower This is also a beautiful one, Spiral Ginger Flower
