Aftera Marius was born both Marius and Heidi had to stay in the maternity ward for 10 days, before they were allowed out in the world. Marius was jaundiced and it took some time to get the bilirubin numbers down to the correct values. We spent the first week out of the hospital on Beaver Creek, Madeleine`s and Bror`s farm in Cawongla, NSW. 
We had many interesting and nice visits to the farm before it was time to celebrate Christmas. Eirik was happy to watch cows, calves, horses, dogs and hens - and to test drive the tractor and buldozer. Eivind helped with the work on the farm. Heidi was most often seen carrying Marius for a feed - or cooking in the kitchen...
