Christopher Blake - 6. til 29.april 2010

It was a great trip and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw some amazing things and had many memorable experiences, like crossing the equator for the first time, dolphins playing around the boat at night all lit up by phosphorous. I have never been at sea for so long and so far away from land before.
It was a pity we didn't have so much wind for sailing, though you can never have everything...
It was fun having Eirik around. He certainly managed to get into everything. He is a fantastic kid and is lots of fun. I hope you have a fantastic rest of your trip, and that you get up to Spitsbergen !

Yong Kim - 3. April 2010

We got to know Yong Kim when we visited Puteri on our way north last year. Back in Puteri after "changed plans" he signed on for "sail course part 2" and "Norwegian food evening" onboard. He also helped us very much with getting a lot of the "things" needed for a long voyage - and to find a place for Heidi to do the ultra sound scan. We also drove to Melaka together. We hope one day to see him in Norway!
Yan Jun - 3. April 2010

Yong Kim's wife was pregnant first time she signed onboard. Not pregnant any longer and with her son Hong Shen she signed directly onboard for "sail course part 2" - and for "Norwegian food evening". We hope one day to see her in Norway!
Hong Shen - 3. April 2010

Our youngest crew member during "sail course part 2". Since he didn't have the opportunity to participate in "sail course part 1" being in his mothers belly, he went directly for "part 2". Maybe Hong Shen and Eirik one day can discuss sailing experiences from young age.
Ho Keat - 3. April 2010

We got to know Ho Keat during our last visit in Puteri. As Yong Kim he enjoyed "sail course part 1". This time he signed onboard for "sail course part 2" and "Norwegian food evening". Ho Keat also gave us very good help with getting all parts needed in front of the long voyage to Australia. Together we also drove to Melaka. We hope one day to see him in Norway!
Boon Ping - 3. April 2010

Signed directly onboard for "sail course part 2" without "sail course part 1" - and for Norwegian food evening". Boon Ping is also a skilled electro engineer and fiksed our 3000W inverter in few minutes. We hope one day to see him in Norway!

Anders Wergeland 25. February - 2. March 2010

Thank you for wonderful days on board Empire. Good to see that you still enjoy the sailing and the life on board, as well as eachother.
Nice to get to know Eirik. He is a good boy that lokks like both his mum and dad.

Hope I get the chance to see you again before you get back to Norway.

Carl-Petter Jonsson - 15. - 19. February 2010

Thanks for nice days onboard Empire. For a “land crab” and former stink boat enthusiast it was incredible fun to study the textile engine characteristics.

Even though it is hard to admit - life onboard a sailboat is great. Great crew, sun and evening beer in the cockpit will be remembered back in Norway.
Anne-Britt Kieding - 6. - 19. February 2010

Thanks for two wonderful weeks onboard Empire. If it hadn't been for you I wouldn't have been to Malaysia this year. I have had a great time in your company – even though I have experienced a mild sea sickness and insomnia…

I have never been to South Africa , it's on the list :)
Have a great voyage – thanks

Bjørnar Bakken - 6. - 19. February 2010

Ugh Ugh ...

11. visit onboard Empire, warm and wonderful. See you soon!
Peder - 13. - 20. January 2010

While Empire was on the hard in Boat Lagoon, Phuket, Thailand, Peder signed onboard for a short visit. He did not get the chanse to do any sailing this time, but helped with the boatwork, visited several beaches and rode on elephant.
